We are pleased to present this collection of vintage Automobile Advertising for your consideration. The collection includes four (4) pieces dating to the 1950’s and 1960’s and includes the following:
a.) DODGE For Fifty-Two Brochure / Poster. This brightly colored brochure folds out into a 21 x 31 inch poster with 2 sides. It covers the Dodge Coronet, Coronet Sierra, Coronet Convertible, Coronet Diplomat, Wayfarer Sedan and Coupe, and the Meadowbrook. Folded, it has some light surface ripples and wear, but is in very good overall condition (see pictures). Would look fantastic framed and hung on the wall!
b.) 1952 PLYMOUTH Brochure / Poster. Covering the Cranbrook, Cambridge, and Concord models, this Brochure folds out to 20 x 27 inches. One side shows the various models while the other covers specifications and technical features. Folded, with some minimal edge wear, this piece would look fabulous in a frame.
c.) SKYLARK by BUICK Brochure. This large format Brochure has 16 pages with a Hollywood theme. The Brochure is 11-1/4 inches square. We believe this was issued in 1961. The cover shows some scuffs and minor edge wear while the inside pages have a bent corner at upper right with slight edge wear at top and right edges. We rate the overall condition as good to very good.
d.) 1952 Chrysler Corporation “New Worlds In Engineering” Brochure. Containing 24 pages, this booklet discusses Chrysler in the early 1950’s (Brochure dates to 1952) with an emphasis on the advanced technology used by the company. Several double pages show cars including the DeSoto. The Brochure measures 8-1/4 inches high by 6-1/2 inches wide. The front shows rusty staples with a couple of rust marks on the back cover. Wear is minimal with the overall condition being very good.
This is an exciting assortment of vintage Automobile Advertising Literature. The Brochures and Posters would make a wonderful addition to any Automotive collection!
